More Balotsav success for HEAL Paradise School

HEAL founder Dr Satya Prasad Koneru has sent a message of congratulations to Paradise School in India after success for one of its students in a national children’s event.

For the second year running HEAL Paradise entered a team into the Balotsav Children’s Telugu Cultural Festival, this year celebrating its 25th jubilee anniversary.

The children made the long journey from Thotapalli in Andhra Pradesh to Kothagudem in the neighbouring state of Telangana to take part in the three-day event which attracts schools from all over India.

Last year Paradise celebrated a second place for singer Angel Vennela and this year it was the turn of another Class Eight student, Manisha, to claim a top-three placing.

“We are very proud that our student K.Manisha of 8th Class secured third place in the All India One Act Play out of 144 contestants, playing the historical role of ‘Dhuryodhana’,” said Paradise Vice Principal Mr Ramesh Ravuri.

Upon hearing the news, a delighted Dr Prasad said: “I would like to offer my congratulations to Manisha and thanks to all the teachers. Well done, I am very proud of you all.”
